GERTRUDE MARY COVENTRY (1885 - 1964)
ScotlandGertrude Mary Coventry(Mrs E. Robertson), daughter of the famous Robert McGowan Coventry. Lived in Glasgow, 1904. Inverness, 1915. Bangor Wales 1922. Known for her lively landscapes and coastal paintings, this being a fine example of her work. Among her exhibits Glasgow Institute fine art, Royal society artists Birmingham, Royal Academy ,Royal society watercolours and many more. Coventry is listed in The British artists 1880-1940,Royal Scottish academy, Royal academy.
