Iveta's pottery is hand-made in white earthenware or stoneware. The pots are hand thrown on the wheel or hand-built using sheets of white clay, as well as combinations of both techniques. It is fresh and contemporary in design which is using techniques such as engraving, carving and stamping. Her ceramics are then decorated with oxides and colourful glazes, although Iveta likes to decorate with minimal areas to emphasize the natural colour and texture of the clay. Finally they are fired in an electric kiln to 1020c or 1240c. rnIveta Goddard studied ceramics at the College of Art in the Czech Republic 1991-1994.
