Taking Flight is one of a fabulous series by Joseph Capicotto. If you ever wanted a painting with sea and sky but not the usual, this work is for you - truly stunning oil on canvas Joseph Capicotto, has no order or form in his method. There is a lot of layering, and the layers are not in any particular order of method. It really just depends on what he feels will look best for a piece. Last year he did a wonderful series of paintings using roses petals, with stunning results.
