A dear little bowl in green with one of Sue's cats called Glollop on it. size medium ceramic Sue Thompson was born in Cornwall and studied art at Portsmouth and Ravensbourne before returning to Cornwall to study ceramics with Bill Marshall and David Metcalf. Sine returning to Cornwall she has worked with children at King Charles School, Falmouth producing tile panels based on Cornish legends and stories. The sense of joy, love of bright colours and freedom of expression enjoyed by children has become incorporated into her own work.
