Sue Thompson was born in Cornwall and studied art at Portsmouth and Ravensbourne before returning to Cornwall to study ceramics with Bill Marshall and David Metcalf.rnSine returning to Cornwall she has worked with children at King Charles School, Falmouth producing tile panels based on Cornish legends and stories.rnThe sense of joy, love of bright colours and freedom of expression enjoyed by children has become incorporated into her own work.
