England Vivienne started her ceramics working life in Sheffield in 1992 when she was lucky enough to get the use of Edmund DeWaals studio whilst he was in Japan for a year. Having recieved a setting-up grant from the Crafts Council this enabled her to buy her first kiln. In 1997 she moved to the Roslyn Works in Stoke-on-Trent. She currently lives in Leek, Staffordshire with her family and has a small workshop nearby.
